VO WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S

{ANCHOR} Hundreds of Monadnock residents have joined together to stomp out Alzheimer's in the 20-19 Walk-to-end Alzheimer's.

436 walkers lined up holding colored flowers ready to start the Walk-to-end-Alzheimer's in Keene.

Each flower color represents how Alzheimer's impacts the daily life of the walkers and their families.

The two-mile walk beat its 65-thousand-dollar goal and raised nearly 77-thousand-dollars to combat the disease.

The Alzheimer's Association reports one-out-of-three Senior Citizens will contract Alzheimer's.

Keene held it's 20-19 International festival to share the diversity of the community K-S-C-T-V's Austin Cook reports on the multicultural displays.

From Indian dance to African drumming to Greek and other ethnic cuisines the Keene International Festival has it from all over the globe.

Evan Carpenter says the event shows more of what people have in common.

The festival is here to welcome different kinds of people and bring them together in celebration at a time where immigration and diversity are on the national spotlight.
